With great difficulty we arrived at the final of this eighth season of The Walking Dead, a final round which the hype was not great either, that partly has not complied with the high expectations, but overall it could have been much worse.
I tried to watch the episode just because I write the review, but my good will was not at all rewarded.
While avoiding spoilers like a minefield, Sunday night – direct cause of Wrestlemania – I glimpsed on social commentary to the episode of The Walking Dead during the American airing. Enthusiastic. On the one hand I thought that as usual they put the turbo before the finale, on the other, I decided to take it with a grain of salt. In hindsight, and despite positive ratings are not missed, I was right to not flatter myself.
Restoring neuronal functions of April it definitely helps to maintain the quality of the episode at the level of sufficiency but, other than that, hard to find something interesting to say.
Directly or indirectly, in this episode all face grief, near or far it's over time. An episode traveling slow, Maybe the pace will not ever take, but in the last 20 minutes we awaken from ropes torpor and touches from initial annoyance.
Slow improvements in this episode, and given the overall situation could also be a fluke; or, missing very little now to the final, the authors are really trying to start the storyline in the right direction.
Maybe we put more effort in trying to please us the episodes, that the authors to make them interesting and credible. Of events that could make this a good episode, worth remembering the first seasons, There were two: the battle with the Saviors led by Simon and the zombie attack. Unfortunately both develop between nonsense continues and ends leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
Other week, another episode from fail across the Board for Grey's Anatomy; This 14th season, started with the best conditions, are really drifting, and I believe that only a radical intervention can save the series for the future.
This second half of the season like a zig-zag between strokes on the right track and skidding off the road. In spite of the clash drive between Rick and Negan, "The Key" brings the show to a straight path, exactly as happened two weeks ago with “The Lost and the Plunderers”. A violent face-off between Rick and Negan, the appearance of new characters, but most of all a true development that affects them and the plot.
